I got A's in my GCSEs in all of the A levels i want to do and the core subjects except a B in geography,

My original choice was:

Biology,

Chemistry

Geography

Music Tech

However, i am keen to do medicine and my mum suggested perhaps doing Maths for AS and dropping either Geography or music tech but my dad also suggested Government & politics or Physics(both G&P and Music Tech are new subjects to me but i got A in music)

What shall i do? i enjoy all of those subjects that i want to do and am in indecision, any help would be really good thanks!

  1. well if you want to do medicine, you really need to have at least two of the three sciences to stick with for A level, then pick one that you can enjoy, so maybe music tech would be a good idea as well!  but rest assured, if you pick a subject and after a couple of weeks you have regretted it, usually you are able to change it- but i wouldn't let your parent tell you what subjects to pick- its your future career at the end of the day, so pick whats best for you!

  2. I want to do medicine too!

But make sure you choose the a levels that your going to enjoy, otherwise whats the point!

My choices are Biology, Chemistry, Physchology and English Literature!

For medicine, I think its the science aspect thats more important, but maths also relates to the course, but I hated it at gcse lol

Do you want to pursue a music career? if not why do an A level when you already have an A at gcse?

    Good Luck!
