I live in the uk but my parents have both been made reduntant and cause we have an aunt who lives un Ukraine who I've only ever met once in my whole life. I'm 14, and I've never even been to any countries outside of Europe. I'm really happy here and now I have to leave all my friends, I don't speak a word of the language and I have no idea what it's going to be like. Do any of you know what it's like? for example the schools? the young people ect? what should I do, I really want to run away.

  1. I have to be honest with you on this one. You will need to learn the language as it will be hard for  you in the Ukraine.

The cool thing that most of the people that are your age will find great interest in finding out what life is like in your country that you are from. You will most likely be able to make friends easy because of this, as they do teach english in most schools, though they do not have anyone to practice with. If you are a boy the girls will like you, if you are a girl the boys will like you as you are different.

Life in the Ukraine is hard but it can be very fun for you, just be careful about drinking and drugs there as it is very easy to fall into a rut with them here.

Try to the most of this as it could be a great adventure for you.
