I've recently got a new Television from Argos, because I thought the sound went on my old one, because it was crackly when I played the PS2. I tried every game to see if it was the same, and it was, but, now, i want to take the television back, because my old one didn't have problems, i have the receipt for it, will they still take it back? It's got all the package with it, the box, remote control, and even the instructions.

  1. yup within 28 days with reciept and packaging

  2. Most things they sell are covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, so just return it to them unused, in their original undamaged packaging, in a saleable condition, with your receipt and they'll give you a refund.

If you don't have your receipt, as long as you have a proof of purchase they'll exchange the item or give you a refund with vouchers.

  3. Yes as long as its in its box looking nice and within 2 weeks of purchase (maybe its a month now but it used to be 2 weeks).

  4. I doint shop in argos anymore as they are not nice to deal with when things go wrong, also if you look in there  book their is a time limit to take things back, but they have to be in the box and wrapping you bought them in, good luck if you decided to try,

  5. They do should or a least give you a credit note, if you don't ask! you won't know.

  6. if you got the tv with in 30 days then you can return it within 30 days if you have proof of purchase.

  7. Yes you can as long as you haven't used it and the its in a resalesable condidtion, if they argue about it ask to speak to the manager. It will say on the back of your receipt what the terms of sale are.

Just kick up a fuss if they do quibble, but they won't.

    It's their own policy.

  8. i have no idea say there is a problem with it and you just want a refund
