Argos returning policy ??

Hi,im thinking of buying a games console from Argos but noticed they are excluded from the 30day back refund.

What i want to know is what if the console is broken,will i not get my money back? As it doesnt explain what the "Excluded from 30 day policy means"

  1. yes, you should get your money back or they will fix it if it gets broken.


  2. The console will be covered by it's manufacturers guarantee even if it's not covered by the Argos policy.

  3. Yes, you will get your money back if the console's faulty. That's covered by UK consumer law.

    The "exclusion" means that you can't take the games console back if you simply don't like it, or if you change your mind, which is something that Argos don't mind you doing with many items.

  4. if the conso;e was broken before you opened it-as in its was aldready broken inside.then you bring it back to them and they send it of to the manufacturers ,and then the manufacturers decide if they will refund your money.....................

    they dont really need to explain the 30 day exclusion policy,they will only mention it to you when making your purchase,its quite self explantory

    but with everything,if anythings ever faulty you have a legal right for money back,

  5. it goes along the lines of. . . if you simply change your mind then you cant get a refund , but if it,s broken or faulty then you can get a refund.
