Which position can you support as the proper name to call upon when baptizing?

Or, should we call on all in one?

Or, should we even call on a name?

  1. IN THE NAME OF JESUS THERE IS NO OTHER.

  2. When I was baptized it was : In the name of the Father,The Son and the Holy Spirit, In The name of Jesus Christ. So I say all of the above.

  3. Yes, yes, and yes.

To quote from our church "What We Believe"...

WATER BAPTISM - We believe water baptism is by full immersion into water. Moreover, those believers are to be baptized "By the authority given the church, in the name of Jesus we baptize this our brother/sister, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost." Baptism is subsequent to conversion and not a saving ordinance, but an outward sign of an inward work. Baptism is not optional for the believer, but a command of our Lord to be obeyed.

  4. Golly, isn't it tough enough to be a decent person in the world without having to worry about about the words said at a water sprinkling?
