Argumentative Essay help?

i need to write an argumentative essay for english on the topic that "Fate was mostly responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet" but i dont know how to start or even write an introduction. Anyone got any help?

For the intro you should use your thesis statement but first you must decide if you believe it or not and pick your side of the arugment.  If you agre that fate was responsible you could go thru all the things that happened to the couple (parents, age, poison) that brought them to their demise.  If you don't agree you could say it wasn't fate that caused their death it was two foolish children who indulged in today with no thoughts about tomorrow.  You could say

Fate and the ironies of life held hands while planning the death of these lovers.  Ironic that one faked death only to loose her lover to death and commit suicide after all. But in reality the fates did not begin the plot t o keep them apart, it was the parents who thought them too young, weren't they 14?  So it was youth, young and head strong stubborness that caused Romeo and Juliet to be too short sided and their willfulness is what really casued their death.

basically what you want to do is come up with an "argument" meaning, why do you think fate caused their death? well they died within seconds of each other in this annoying fate driven way! So you could say Fate was responsible for the deaths of R+J because there were too many coincidental events that prevented romeo from knowing that juliet was only sleeping. ok i dont remember, i think it was because the note was lost and the priest couldn't get there in time however that part is your job. your introduction has to state those facts up front in the like four sentences. ok? then your conclusion has to say the SAME thing in different words. the body of the essay needs to explain how those events occured, like two paragraphs on how the note got lost  and two more on the priest situation (or whatever) . get it? good luck!
