Ariana D to notch victory in the Grade 3 Chicago Handicap at Arlington Park
After two consecutive finishes in third place, it is now Ariana D’s chance to make a comeback, and finally claim a victory in the Grade 3 Chicago Handicap.

The race will be run over a distance of seven furlongs on 30th June, 2012, at Arlington Park.
The daughter of Rock Slide is the most established runner against eight other runners, and for that she will be the high weight of 121 pounds.
Taking on a distance of seven furlongs might work well for the Andrew McKeever trained mare, since she previously claimed a victory over the same distance in the $100,000 Avowal Stakes at Woodbine in October, 2011, and succeeded over the Reade Baker
trained, Fantastic Cousin.
Foaled by Derby Tie, the mare’s seasonal debut was a good start, when she finished third in the Grade 1 Vinery Madison at Keeneland on 12th April, 2012 - which covered a distance of seven furlongs.
The six-year-old finished third in her most recent start, the Grade 3 Arlington Matron Stakes at Arlington Park on 26th May, 2012.

In the Arlington Matron Stakes, Ariana D was stretched out to a larger distance of 1 mile and 1 furlong, but still performed in a commendable manner.
With jockey W. Martinez on her back, she missed the victory by a margin of 5 ¾ lengths.
The only one who could challenge the Maple Lane Farm LLC owned runner is, Honey Chile, who is will be the second top weight of the race with 117 pounds.
The daughter of Invisible Ink, out of mare Christmas Time, will be looking to bounce back from her seventh place finish in the Grade 3 Winning Colors Stakes at Churchill Downs on 3rd June, 2012.
Trained by Wayne Catalano for owner, James F. Miller, the bay filly has shown better racing skills when she competed in the Grade 3 Whimsical Stakes at Woodbine in April, 2012, which covered a distance of six furlongs.
Paired with rider Jesse M. Campbell, the four-year-old lost the victory by a narrow margin of a neck to the Mark Casse trained, Roxy Gap.
The victory belongs to Ariana D in this race, where she will be mounted by Willie Martinez. With a little luck and effort, she will be unstoppable.
