Ariella Aung captures Girls 50-yard freestyle title: 2011 High School State Championships, Redding
Ariella Aung and Cormac Hotmer delivered their best performances at the 2011 High School State Championships in Redding, California. The results of the NSCIF Masters were launched online on Thursday, November 3. Aung was the victorious in the Girls 50-yard
freestyle meet, while Hotmer claimed the Boys 50-yard freestyle title.
Aung beat Paige Treff and Lauren Tokunaga by thrashing the finishing wall in a fastest time of 25.12 seconds to win the Girls 50-yard freestyle title. Treff was placed at second spot in a time of 25.24 seconds, while Tokunaga earned third position in a blot
of 26.66 seconds. Vanessa Arellano picked fourth place in a mark of 27.21 seconds, whereas, Sami Sanders settled for fifth position in a time of 27.41 seconds.
Moreover, Taylor Moebes earned sixth position by hitting the finishing cordon in a time of 27.93 seconds and Ashlynne Neal settled for seventh place in a mark of 27.94 seconds. Savannah Gosselin earned eighth place honours by claiming the finishing mark
in a spot of 28.00 seconds, while Halle Ohlin settled at ninth place in a time of 28.03 seconds. Finally, Amelia Tonge earned tenth position in a time of 28.08 seconds.
In the meantime, the Boys 50-yard freestyle title was clinched by Cormac Hotmer in a winning time of 22.84 seconds and Holden Philbrook settled at second position in a mark of 23.14 seconds. Kasey Foley earned third place honours by touching the finishing
mark in a time of 23.20 seconds, while Taylor New was placed fourth in a time of 23.34 seconds.
Ryan Parke earned fifth position by submitting a time of 23.37 seconds, while Zach Williamson settled for sixth place in a spot of 23.66 seconds. Additionally, Curtis Twitchell earned seventh place in a mark of 23.84 seconds and Aaron Partridge was placed
eighth in a time of 23.87 seconds.
Furthermore, Josiah Wyse picked ninth spot by hitting the finishing wall in a time of 23.92 seconds. Last of all, Theo Workman settled at tenth place in a mark of 23.97 seconds.
