Arizona Diamondbacks defeated by Los Angeles Dodgers 4-5 – MLB Recap
Arizona Diamondbacks lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-5 in the third and last game of their three-match regular series encounter on Sunday, September 2 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
Diamondbacks’ played poorly from the start of the game and lost in the end. They did not play their natural game and lost with bitter humiliation.
"I got ahead of Adrian right there tried to elevate to get him to chase it, but I just didn't get it up enough, The walk is the one that hurts. I was rushing to the plate, trying be quick and try to keep Ellis from trying to swipe the bag," said Putz on his team’s performance.  
On the other hand, the Dodgers played offensively and won in style. They kept the Diamondbacks under pressure and did not give any chance which eventually proved fruitful for the Dodgers as they eased past their opponents with comprehensiveness.
Dodgers' experienced players did well and earned a great victory. Their entire roster contributed in their team’s decent win.
"These are fun moments, They don't come too often so you got to enjoy them," Gonzalez said on Dodgers’ great victory.                        
Second baseman Mark Ellis scored one run and smashed two hits on his five at-bats. He maintained his slugging percentage at .363 and proved one of the winning factors for the Dodgers.
Left fielder Shane Victorino also did well on the plate as he scored one run and one hit along with one RBI. He showed his class and maintained his slugging percentage at .386.
"It's a matter of time before this offense gets clicking on all cylinders. We're capable of scoring 10, 15 runs, Sometimes it takes a certain time to get people going in the same direction," said Victorino.
Centre fielder Matt Kemp also did well and scored two quick runs and smashed one hit along with one RBI.
Not only batters, but the Dodgers pitchers also showed their class and pitched aggressively. Chris Capuano pitched five innings and received three runs and four hits. He struck-out four and maintained his 3.63 ERA.
