Arizona Diamondbacks might trade Justin Upton – MLB Update
The Arizona Diamondbacks have potentially decided to trade some of their leading players in order to get aggressive pitchers. Though experts say that this sort of unlikely situation for the Diamondbacks, but as they are getting interest for Justin Upton,
they might go for a trade.
Currently the Chicago White Sox have publically showed interest in Upton who has been playing for the Diamondbacks for quite some time now.
Last season, with the Arizona’s big league team, Upton played with an aggressive approach and did not show any loop holes in his game. He went achieving .280 hitting average along with 17 homers, 67 RBIs and .355 OBP.
Not only in the recent past Major League Baseball season, Upton has also played consistently throughout his career in the biggest baseball league in the world. He currently holds a good career hitting average of .278 along with 108 home runs, 363 strikeouts
and .357 OBP.
This is also in news that the Arizona Diamondbacks also considering trading Jason Kubel, “In many ways, Kubel is a better fit for the Rangers than Upton. Kubel is a left-handed power hitter, what the Rangers lack with free agent Josh Hamilton’s defection
to the Los Angeles Angels. ... [Arizona GM Kevin] Towers likely would want pitching prospects for Kubel," SportsDay's Gerry Fraley wrote.
Jason Kubel is also considered one of the best left fielders in the Arizona Diamondbacks. Playing last season with total persistence, he achieved good numbers of .253 hitting average along with 30 home runs, 90 RBIs and .327 OBP.
On the other hand, the seven-year Major League veteran also possesses good career numbers of .268 hitting average along with 134 home runs, 519 RBIs and .334 OBP.
Meanwhile, if Kubel and Upton might traded to some other team in the Major League, the Arizona Diamondbacks will be showing their interest to sign a good starting pitcher.
Next few weeks are still critical, when the Diamondbacks will decide to trade which player. Expectations are also high that how the Diamondbacks roster will look after a potential trade of Justin Upton or Jason Kubel.
