The Arizona Diamondbacks’ are currently sitting in a good place as they have won four games out of five they played so far in this year’s Major League Baseball season. While the only game they have lost from the San Diego Padres 2-1 was also a tough battle
in which the Diamondbacks came very close to take the game away.
The way this new season has opened-up for the Diamondbacks is certainly impressive and the experts are calling a win-win situation for Arizona’s entire bullpen at the moment.
It is also believed that the Diamondbacks general manager Kevin Towers is the main man behind who remained consistent to introduce a new offensive pitching strategy that will not put pressure on the batting lineup to perform in every game instead the pitchers
will take the responsibility this season and find new ways to project this new offensive pitching strategy.
Now Towers is sitting pleased and watching closely over all the proceedings which will be occurring in the next few games that the Diamondbacks are going to play against the Padres and later against the Colorado Rockies.
Earlier manager Towers has stated in the media about this whole new strategy. Though he said vaguely not clearing the core point, but still many experts and analysts excerpted some assumptions on what Towers wants to say here.
According to Towers, "You can have a great meal with tremendous ambiance and great company, but if you have to wait 40 minutes for a check, you ain't going to remember anything that is good about that dinner. It really started out of necessity, San Diego
was a small-market club, and we really didn't have the resources."
In the meanwhile, the Diamondbacks have still many areas to cover to become the leaders in the National League West. Though they are playing well so far, but to achieve a bigger goal or to qualify for the post season, they need some consistent performances
from every pitcher they have on the active roster. Some experts believe that the Diamondbacks have a fair chance this season to convert these early wins into ultimate World Series Championship title.
