The Bayern Munich winger confirms that he has not yet fully recovered from his injury and demands more playing time from Jupp Heynckes.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 has confirmed that he still needs some time to fully recover from his last groin strain despite making a comeback two weeks before the winter break. The winger missed most of the first-half of this season due to injury
and has also lost his place in the starting line-up.
The Dutchman admitted that his pain aggravates with every passing day and regular playing time could only help it to subside. He opined that his manager is reluctant to trust him for the entire 90 minutes and wants more playing
time in the remaining matches of the season.
Robben blamed Heynckes for not providing him with ample playing opportunities and stated that he will be able to contribute to the team’s success if he is a regular in the team.
While talking to Dutch TV station, NOS, the 28-year-old further added: “I am in pain almost every other day. I do not wish to complain constantly, but it is true that the last injury of my career has been annoying.”
Robben has had constant injury problems since signing for the Bavarian giants from Real Madrid in 2009 and as a result has managed only 52 league appearances during his two-and-a-half year spell until now.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 man stressed on the importance of playing week in, week out, as he feels that it is the only way to get his rhythm back and get back amongst the goals both for his club and the country.
“With the adrenaline [from the match] and everything - it goes well. I still do not know if I’m 100% match fit. The only thing you need are games to get back into rhythm,” Robben concluded.
Robben has so far managed just 14 league appearances this season, bagging five goals during the process. The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 international will next be in action against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, March 03, at the BayArena.
