The Bayern Munich winger has hinted that the negotiations will begin in the next few weeks and insists that the team has to work hard to reach the level of Barcelona.
Bayern Munich are on the verge of extending Arjen Robben’s career at the Allianz-Arena despite the winger’s injury woes. The Dutchman has experienced has had an injury plagued two years at Allianz Arena thus far, but is still believed
to be an integral part of Jupp Heynckes’ plans.
Robben claimed that Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and he would love to extend his stay at the club. The winger has so far had another injury plagued season where he has just managed eight league appearances, netting

While talking to Suddeutsche Zeitung, the 27-year-old further mentioned:
"This [contract extension] is a formality. If there were five or 10 clubs as big as Bayern, then you could say: 'Okay, I might have another goal. But Bayern are already at the top, this is one of the best clubs in the world."
On the other hand, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 player insisted that Bayern are no where closer to Barcelona, and therefore the second favourites to win this year’s UEFA Champions League. He added that some people rate them higher than the
Catalan giants, but his side still has a long way to go in order to match the class of the Catalan giants.

concluded.
