The Bayern Munich winger has expressed his frustration after squandering a chance to equalise against the Borussians.

Bayern responded aggressively and earned themselves a penalty in the 83rd minute. However, Robben missed a golden scoring opportunity to level things up. In the end, Dortmund kept their composure to stretch their lead
to six points atop the league standings with just four games to play in the competition.
Robben mused that it was possibly the worst moment of his career as he failed to lift his side up when they needed him the most. The Dutchman stated that he himself cannot believe what happened as it was Bayern’s only chance of
coming back into the game.
While talking to sports channel, Sky after the game, the winger further added: "This is a very bitter and disappointing defeat. In the end I don't know what to say. I was so sure of myself. In the last three years, I think I've
taken 10 or 11 penalties and converted them, but unfortunately I failed this time."
On the other hand, Robben congratulated his opponents on their victory which has taken them one step closer towards retaining their crown. He reckons that the Borussians will be able to defend their title but still urged his players
not to lose hope and try winning the remainder of their four fixtures.
"Dortmund have taken a huge step; we can almost say that Borussia Dortmund will be German champions. But we must now push on the throttle even more in the coming games," Robben concluded.
