Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has not ruled out a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 at some stage of his career. The player was talking ahead of his club’s Champions league play-off tie against FC Zurich, scheduled to be played on Wednesday, August 17, at Allianz Arena.
The Dutch international, though, claimed that he is not interested in making a move away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 any time soon.
Robben told that the Serie A clubs http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and AC Milan contacted him during the summer but he has no such intentions of leaving. The Dutchman also admitted about interest from one of the English Premier League sides during this summer transfer window.
He ruled out a move back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753, saying that he would prefer playing in one of the top leagues while he is at his peak.
Meanwhile, the winger has been declared fit to take part in Bayern’s upcoming game against Zurich on Wednesday. Robben is battling a back problem and had to sit out his club’s 1-0 win over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881 last Saturday. The 27-year-old confirmed about his
recovery and was looking forward to face the Swiss opposition.
While talking to a local news paper, the Dutch international added, "Of course I have heard of Anschi Makhachala, they have a lot of money. But I don’t want to talk about my future. I'm 27 and I am happy at Bayern. But in life anything can happen and maybe
one day I will play in Russia."
The former Real Madrid winger further enthused that he might consider moving to Russia some day but only once his contract ends in Germany. The player reckoned that he still has a long way to go in his career and he will definitely honour his contract with
the Bundesliga giants.
Robben joined Bayern in 2009 and has 28 goals to his name from 39 Bundesliga games until now. He has 53 international caps for the Dutch national side so far, bagging 15 goals in return since making his debut in 2003.
Bayern are currently eleventh in the league table with a win and a loss to their name from the two matches.
