The Bayern Munich winger has confirmed that he wants to take his time to sign a new deal with the Bavarian giants.

Bayern Munich winger, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521, has confirmed that he will not put pen to paper in the near future despite encouraging claims from the club bosses. The Munich officials are keen to retain the Dutchman at the Allianz Arena following
his return to form in the recent weeks.
Robben came under heavy criticism from the media due to his selfish play and consistent injury problems. It also once prompted the Dutchman to part ways with the Munich giants during the winter transfer window.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 star has been going through a purple patch and looks extremely fit to last until the end of this season. He admitted that the club wishes to retain him for another two years but insisted that he would require
some time to ponder upon this offer.
Robben denied all the extension claims and clarified that nothing has been finalised as yet. He mused that his utmost priority is to focus on the current assignments which is to lead Bayern towards much-needed silverware at the
end of this season.
However, he showed encouraging signs by stating that it is an honour for him to represent Bayern and currently has no issues with the club.
While talking to NOS, the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 international further added:
"It's all a bit premature. It's correct that we will have another meeting, but I won't sign a new deal on that occasion just yet. I do have the intention to stay at the club, though. I am feeling very well here. We'll see what
happens."
Robben was omitted from the playing XI against Olympique Marseille in the second-leg of Bayern’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie on Tuesday, April 3, at the Allianz Arena due to fatigue concerns. However, the winger confirmed
that he would have played the game if his team had required him.
"My muscles feel a bit heavy due to fatigue. I could have played if necessary, though," Robben concluded.
The 28-year-old currently has 57 league appearances under his belt for Bayern and has bagged 39 goals in return. He has 11 league goals to his name this season and will next be in action against Augsburg on Saturday, April 7.
