second-place on the Bundesliga standings table with the victory and are only two points behind Bayern Munich.
Armin Veh claimed that the opposition played very well and made life difficult for the home side. The manager admitted that his side made a positive comeback after the interval and praised the team’s potential following the win.
The tactician insisted that it is a big win for his side as they proved yet again that their brilliant start to the season is not a fluke. He hailed Meier for his great show in the fixture and is keen to extend the successful start

“Freiburg played well. It was hard for us after the hype of last week. You can't always play magical football, so it's great to win a game like this. The team showed heart and great character,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, SC Freiburg boss Christian Streich added that his team deserved more from the game. He stressed that the team played well to impose themselves on the opposition, but were unlucky to be on the losing side in the
