Army 68w? questions?

I am thinking of enlisting as a 68w. My question how likely will it be that i get stationed at a hospital I really want to go to an infantry unit.Also I heard it is hard to get promoted in this mos is this true?

you have a 50 50 chance of hospital and any kind of unit,  every unit has medics, but in order to get promoted they usually prefer both,  they will rotate you.  and promotion points for 68w are high so if you are looking at quick promotion that is not a good mos.
