Army Bonus? My husband got a $34,000 sign and early leave bonus. ?

fist duty station. Will the next payment come on his enlistment anniversarry or the anniversarry of his first bonus payment. Please all I need to know is when it will come not peoples smart ellic remarks about how he really didnt get that much because he did. He got $14,000 for sign on and $20,000 for leaving to OSUT earlier than he signed for.

  1. Army Sarge is correct,

    Many people join the military without the bribe of money.  My husband joined the AF without a bonus and is re-enlisting without a bonus.  Money isn't everything

    EDIT:  You could have worded your question without the dollar amount.  It makes it sound as if you are "showing off".

  3. He will receive his initial payment of $10,000 about two weeks after he gets to his first duty station. Has to inprocess through finance first and go through the right channels. Then the next payment should come around the same time he shipped to basic training. Give or take a week or two. And since I have been on recruiting for the last 3 years, I have seen people get $40,000 and all their student loans paid off, so whoever says you can't get that much of a bonus needs to do a little more research of their own.
