  1. The Main PX on post is very much like Wal-Mart. They have a bit of EVERYTHINGGGGG and nearly as large. The Mini-PX sites (usually several on post or base) are more like a convience store. Just the basics, less food items and more military items. You'll have no difficult finding feminine hygiene products, underwear, T-shirts, socks, snacks, and electronic items, magazines, newspapers just to name a few. I have been to Ft. Jackson, Ft. Benning, Ft Sam Houston, and Ft.Leonard Wood. All the bases are basically the same, and WELL-STOCKED.

  2. Yeah

they care called PX,  Post eXchange

You will have one that you buy that stuff during at reception (about 1 wk of processing and equipment issuing)

Then you have some around the posts. Your drill sergents will take you. they have everything. Nothing in bulk, but lots indivduals items.

  3. yes the on base px will have everything you need during your time at basic. Mostly hygienic products, writing utensils(envelopes,paper,stamps,etc.)mil... clothing(t-shirts,underwear,socks,etc.). And all the "women things" that you'll need they will be sure to have. You can also get things sent to you after arriving at basic after a week.
