  1. With parachute rigger you have to go to Airborne School.  With human resource specialist you can eventually become a warrant officer in that field.  I don't know anything about chaplains assistant or bridge crewmember.  Have you thought about 68W or another medical MOS?

  2. parachute rigger...you'll have a lots of different school opportunity that most mos can't get. such as HALO and Pathfinder. fun..you get to rig your own parachute when you jump.

Human resources and Finance specialist... you'll be sitting in the office all day. even when you deploy.. you'll never get out of the office. if you're a active person..thats not the job for you.

chaplin's assistant...you work for the Chaplain.. so far one of the most relax job i've seen in the army... they pretty much have no job. but walking around talking to soldiers and boosting their morale. pass out candies. and organize activities. (thats just what i've seen)

add on...ok HRS do go outside the wire.. but thats really rare now a days... unless you're in a **** up unit with some **** up commands

  3. I'm a human resources specialist, and if your all about working in an office then that whats you will be doing. i was given the fox 5 identifier which alot of hrs's get to become postal. postal is not a bad job but you do get deployed alot. hrs is a pretty chill job in the army and i don't mind it at all. your defiantly not going outside the wire when you go to iraq

  4. If you believe that you won't go outside the wire as a human resources specialist you are smoking dope.  Our 71 & 75 series guys were outside all the time.  Especially our F5 identifiers.  Matter of fact, one of our F5's were killed while going on a distro run to pick up the mail.  Being any particular MOS and thinking that you won't go outside the wire is a thing of the past.  Wake up!!!
