  1. Stationed as in you both are military or are you guys just living in two diff states.  I don't understand why you would try for a baby and not get married.  Being married will solve all the ?'s you are asking.  You will not get housing not being married and the military will not pay for your child to be born.  Your child would get ins and your girlfriend would get child support.  Hope this helps

  2. since you are not married no they will not  grant you co location.  the parent with custody will need a family Care Plan.  the custodial parent will be the only one granted BAH w/Dep and/or eligible for MFH.

  3. Whoever has custody of the baby will get the increased BAH and other benefits.  You have to be married in order to be stationed together.

  4. The Army will not recognize you as being 'married'.  Being married, the Army would consider moving you closer together under the MACP (married army couples program).  Housing could be given to you both.  The one with physical custody of the child and the other because he/she has partial custody and will need housing for the child when he/she visits-but, I think that requires documentation.  So, you count as single parents.

  5. you guys arent together, but once your girlfriend has her baby - wherever she is stationed at she can apply for on post housing or she can get bah and live off base - i think they will start it a few months before she has the kid - have her check on that..

They arent going to move you guys together because you guys arent married - you both still count as single, the only way you can go where she is - is to get stationed there... otherwise you are out of luck

  6. The military doesn't take care of girlfriends.

If she has custoday she will get BAH or housing. If you're allowed to live off post and required to pay child support you will also get BAH with or BAH/diff if you live in the barracks.

The best option is to get married, then both of yall will get stationed together and both will receive BAH, unless you live on post.
