I am an army wife and I was wondering if there is anyway that I can find information about my husband while he's away. His phone isn't in service so I can't talk to him at the moment. Like when does his unit deploy and when he comes home and just general basic information like that. There has to be some sort of site that lets us army wives know what is going on. someone please help me.

  1. The FRG should be able to help..just to let you know though, the dates tend to chang. Nothing is concrete, you can get a general idea..but don't be too surprised if the day is off a few.

My husband is doing his second tour, the re-deployment (come home) date is like a two month span.

Good luck to you and your family

  2. Talk to your base chaplain.

He should be able to point you in the right direction.

Baring that, talk to his commanding officer.

You need to totally ignore the comments made by the other person. I too served during an unpopular war.

    Vietnam.

I did not go into combat, but I respect and love those who scarified for what they believed in at the time.

I don't support the war, but I am 100% behind the troops.

Good Luck and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

  3. You need to contact the Family Readiness Group (FRG) for your husbands unit.  DO NOT contact command unless you have an utter complete emergency.  This will get him in trouble.  and I have been through 3 deployments as a spouse, PATIENCE is key.  If he has not left yet there is no way they will give you a redeployment date, but you might get a time frame.  This is not an easy process but stay strong and don't freak out.  You can click on the website listed below and find your local FRG.  It is good support that you will need.

  4. You can call the Public affairs Officer at the base he was deployed from,he should be able to help you...

  5. Contact your FRG and his units Rear- D. They will have all of the information you need. You will not find any accurate information online. It violates OPSEC
