Army reservist going active duty

Can i break my apartment lease if i want to go active duty or do i have to wait till my lease is up??

just tell your landlord you got recalled to active duty.

I think that the Army lets you break the lease.  But try to contact a JAG lawyer to make sure.

When you sign a lease and are in the military, active or reserve, there is a military clause that you should have signed. If you did not sign one, then you need to give your landlord a copy of your orders for active duty when you get them.
