Similarities, they both are heading out to combat zones, war zones, they both are giving their lives up for this country, they both can train in fighting.They both are military branches.

Differences, maybe their uniforms, maybe their length of boot camp for sure.

Are you unsure of which branch you would like to join? Why not consider the Navy as well or AF?

Go to a recruiter, ask him about the Army, go to a DevilDog recruiter and ask him about the Marines, go to the Navy, AF, heck even the Coast Guard and ask each recruiter what their branch is all about.

Then you can make your own list of similarities and differences, up front from people telling you. Instead of relying on Yahooians who you can't trust to tell you.
