http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamburger-SV-c39485 sporting director Frank Arnesen feels that he was right to join the Imtech Arena outfit two years ago. The Dane is happy with the way the club have improved since his appointment, and wants to make further developments
at the German side.
Head coach Thorsten Fink’s men are placed 6th in the league table, and the former player is delighted that his managerial career has progressed after departing English Premier League side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 FC. He claimed that
signing for the Bundesliga club turned out to be great for him.
He stated that things were not this easy, and he expected to achieve good things through the hard way. He suggested that at the start, almost half of the players were over the age of 30. Therefore, he had to change things around
and he has helped the club move in a better direction with young and exciting prospects.
"Coming to Hamburg was a good decision for me. It has not always been easy, but I was not surprised that it was difficult.” he added.

"When I came we had nine players over 30 years old and we had to change that. We have young team that are on the right track. But the financial foundation needs to be stronger,” he mused.
On the other hand, the club official believes they can still improve their financial strength.

"This club have always played internationally, either in the Champions League or the Europa League. HSV are a very big club," he stated.

"If it's not going well I think that's normal. Sometimes they were right. I've got no problem with that," he said.
Hamburg has a rich tradition of competing in European competitions like the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. They have been lucky in that respect. Moreover, he is not bothered by the judgement of former players
in the last year and a half, and said that they might have been right in some situations.
