Lyon coach, Remi Garde, has bolstered his squad with the last-minute signing of the Lorient midfielder, and his addition has been welcomed by the club supporters.
OL were in dire need of a midfielder after selling some of their star players this season. And the arrival of the experienced Lorient man has pleased Remi Garde, who wants Lyon to challenge the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Lille, Marseille and Montpellier,
for the Ligue 1 crown this season.

While talking to reporters, the former Rennes player stated that it’s an honour to be a part of this great club and he is really happy to be here. Lyon are a great club with rich history, and the 27-year-old views this move as a big step in his career.
"I am really delighted to sign for Lyon. It's a big step in my career," he said.
Arnold Mvuemba stated that leaving Lorient was a hard decision, but to play for a club like Olympic Lyonnais is a great opportunity, and he just couldn’t say no to OL.
The midfielder added that FC Lorient will always be in his heart and he has spent some great years of his life there.
"I told them [Lorient] I'd accept an offer from a big club. I'll have lots of good memories - Lorient will stay in my heart."
