I currently have a typical football linemen's body, overweight but strong though fat covers my muscles. I'm planning on only consuming 1500 calories a day and exercising a lot. Around how long should it take for me to get a nice body? Maybe one like Nelly or Usher? :P Like could it happen before prom/ graduation in May?

  1. Well that all depends on how much you weigh now, which you neglected to mention.

In those 8 months you could safely lose a total of 96lbs, assuming that you have that much to lose.

Just stick to the 1,500 calorie diet.  Eat those calories over 6 small meals.  Drink lots of water.  Do cardio and plenty of lifting.

  2. If you have a football player's body, I'd say you should consume about 2000 calories daily. But not empty calories like potato chips or cookies. Eat protein shakes- make sure you get a lot of protein, veggies, fruits, and limit your carb intake. Drink water, no soda. Water cleans fat out of your liver. Stay away from sugary Gaterade when working out. Sugar=bad.

What you need to do is EXERCIZE! That is definitely the key. Cardio, weight training, strength training, kickboxing, swimming, abdominal workouts, etc. Make sure whatever you do, that you sweat. Strive for an hour of vigorous activity, 30 minute minimum.

It will take a few months. If you try hard enough you will have a six pack by May.  =)
