Around how many miles should a 1998 Hyundai Accent be doing per mile?

how many miles per mile should my 98' Hyundai Accent be doing?

also the engine and airbag light are showing on the board?

is this normal?

it has around 94927 miles if that helps...

answer according to the way the question was asked..... your car, and every car, motorcylce, bicycle, etc. has always, and always will do 1 mile per mile.

ok, now to answer the question you intended to ask.....

how many miles per gallon should your Accent get?  on the hwy, with the number of miles already on the vehicle, between 25-30 mpg.  Engine light could be a number of things, but don't ignore it.  Take it to Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, or Napa and have them run diagnostic.  It wont cost you anything.  Airbag light is likely due to air cylinder having a disconnected wire, but needs to be checked for safety reasons.  Also, you are due for new spark plugs, wires, and rotor button.  

Side note..... most common cause of check engine light is low transmission fluid.  Go figure.

No they should not.... engine light means something is wrong with emission controls.....airbag light means airbag will not function...
