  1. Depends on where you go...call around, because the prices can vary dramatically.  There are two vets within a mile of my house; one charges significantly more than another for the same services (one is new with a brand new building and I'm guessing a mortgage - the other is well established).  The local pet stores offer them as well; they offer 'low cost' vaccinations, though their prices differ by location.  Check out the attached article about the costs of a new kitten.  Good luck with the kitten! :)

  2. Haa haa I just asked the same question today!

  3. Normally they run bloodwork to make sure the kitten does not have the feline diseases from the mom before they will give the shots. Need to inquire about the mom's health and was she ever vetted, tested, shots? Prices will vary from area to area so hard to give you a price. Some vets may offer a kitten wellness package which saves money. I know the vet at PetSmart has these package deals that cost so much each month like in installment payments. Call around first.

  4. i'm wondering the same thing

  5. Call a local vet and ask.  With prices varying not only town to town but vet to vet there's no way anyone on here can give you an accurate answer - this site is not just all over the States but INTERNATIONAL!

  6. If you have had your kitten to a vet for worming and its first shot in the kitten series you can follow up in few low-cost places.  My local humane society has monthly shot clinics for that and it costs only $5.  I had my kitten get her final shot in the series from a moblile vet - they come around on a set schedule to pet stores.  It cost $15.  The shots are given every three weeks and my kitten would have been two weeks overdue if I had waited to take her to the humane society.
