Around how much money do foreign English teachers make?

If they work in Japan and have a degree?

Sorry if I got anything wrong. I'm only fourteen, so I don't know too much about university, I guess........

I'm currently teaching in Japan on the JET Program (4th year). I receive 300,000 yen a month, and once tax, insurance and retirement is taken from that, I get 260,000. Which is about 2600 dollars, I think.

Before having my child, I was saving 50,000 - 100,000 of that easily per month.

they make anywhere from 1,300 USD to about 2,700 USD, but if you're just getting started I'd say like 17,000 to start. The big school provide living quarters, but you still have to pay an arm and leg for it. If you're going to Japan to make money, I'd think twice. But you're going there for the experience, you'll have a great time and should have sufficient money to enjoy things.
