Around what time is Jury Duty over?

My mom has jury duty today and she went there at 8AM. she needs me to pick her up when its over, but around what time is it "usually" over? i have a doctors appointment from 1:30 - 2:30 and i dont want my mom to be calling me at that time. If thats around the time people are done with Jury Duty i will cancel my appointment with the doc.

So if you've served before, what time did you get out?

they often hold you til the end of the day to recycle you through the process -- i think i got out about 4:30.  If you get picked for a jury it could be a lot later -- that depends on what time the judge wants to go home.

it is usuall an 8 hour day, just like a regular work day!
