For a certain reaction the rate constant doubles when the temperature increases from 15oC to 25oC. Calculate the activation energy.

    k2=Ae^E/Rt2

    k1/k2=e^(E/R)(-1/T1+1/T2)

    ln(k1/k2)=(E/R)[(T2-T1)/T1T2]

    remember T's are in K; r=1.987
