Afer weeks of asking many questions on here and worrying non stop about everything i just wanted to tell you...

at six yesterday morning i started labour, you were all correct...boy you know when it starts!

by one, a little man was born...no tearing, no screaming....just an amazing epidural and help.

You may or may not know adoption was going to take place. I have never felt so proud or overcome with happiness with what my body produced for this family who cannot have children thenselved.

It's going to take time i know to get through things...but after seeing what i saw yesterday i have never felt so confident in knowing i've made a good decision. boy is that little man going to be loved :)

still a bit shocked though....i carried so small, but he was 8lbs!

thank you for all your kind help through tese difficult weeks x*x

  1. Way to go!  I know what it feels like to be the adoptive mother who cannot have my own children.  That gift that you gave to that family is something that there is to be treasured forever!

I thank you, because somewhere out there, there are two bio-mothers that gave that very same gift to my husband and I.

  2. Congratulations that's wonderful news. It's lovely that he's found such wonderful parents but don't forget what a loving mom you've been to him. I hope he doesn't.

  3. I am so GLAD you had a easy labor.  You truly are a wonderful person for being able to give up your child.  I wish you nothing but the best of luck!  Thanks to people like you I have an adorable little son.  I adopted him 5 years ago he is my life

  4. God bless you , and Congrats!

I will pray for your continued peace of mind, make sure you don't go thru depression , I have heard this is common,

and I have experienced it myself even thought I was keeping my child.

And another thing i would like to say is if for some reason you change your mind , thats ok too, just make sure its the best decision.

Blessings for you and everyone involved, especially for your beautiful baby.

    Good Luck

    Meg

  5. You and your son are quite literally the answer to a happy family's hopes and prayers.

    Bless you.

  6. you are an amazing person to do this for someone else.  My husband and I cant have children.  We have been married for 20 yrs and we are one anothers best friend, however, our family chain cant be completed because of this.  I have two sisters and I asked them both to be a surrogate for me and they both declined to my dismay.  I dont think most people understand what it means to do this for someone.  I know the adoptive mom is so incredibly grateful to you for the gift you gave.  If only there were more people like you in the world, maybe I wouldnt have to endure each day with a broken heart.  Bless you

  7. I praise God for giving you peace and the confidence of your choice.

  8. WOW!!!  Congrats to you!  Congrats to the new family!  Congrats to the little boy you gave birth to!

    This is awesome news!
