  1. The RER takes you to Gare Nord where u take the subway into Chatlet. I would think that the RER (main trains) will be working ( but fewer that normal). That's what happened be4.

A taxi is about 60 Er  IF/.AND u have too,.... hang out at the taxi stand and ask someone to split the fare! BonJour Have a good trip

  2. If you mean the private shuttles and taxis then it probably won't except to the extent that they will be busier carrying people who would otherwise ride the government run rail and bus system.

  3. A general strike probably *will* affect the interurban train (RER B) connecting to Paris.  Even when the trains are running at half-capacity, they can be incredibly backed up.  I've had guests stranded at the airport before.

The next cheapest alternative is the Air France bus service (http://transfer.airport-paris.com/air-fr... ) which is around 15 euro one way.  It's easy to find from the airport, but it's first-come-first-served.  During a strike, it's likely to be crowded.

The private shuttle companies are about twice that price (between 25-30 euro) and shouldn't be affected by the strike, unless there happens to be increased traffic as a result.  You can find many options by searching for "paris airport shuttle", and you usually book and pay in advance, guaranteeing your spot.
