Going to Paris and arriving to the Beauvais airport at 22:05. Then, taking the shuttle bus to Porte Maillot and expecting to arrive around midnight. To get to the hotel, we need to take the metro to Champs-Elysées Clemencau and then switch for Place de Clichy. Does the metro close on Saturday evenings? How long is this metro ride?? Should we be okay and arrive as planned?

  1. There is a faster way than the one you mentioned:

Take line 1 (direction Château de Vincennes) to Charles de Gaulle Etoile (2 minutes) and transfer to line 2 (direction Nation) to Place de Clichy (7 minutes).

That's 8 stops + 1 transfer so it should take no more than 12 minutes total or 15-20 minutes from door to door.

The métro runs until around 2:00 am on weekends (1:00 am on weekdays).

Here is a map of the métro: http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/cartepa...

EDIT: I just checked and the last line 1 métro leaves Porte Maillot at 1:46 am on Saturdays and the last line 2 métro leaves Charles de Gaulle at 1:45 am. Here are the times of the first and last métros for these two lines (last column for weekends):

There will be trains ever 5 minutes until 1:00 am (line 1) / 12:30 am (line 2), then every 10 minutes.

2nd Edit: You'll be perfectly fine as the airport is so small that buses leave 15 to 30 minutes after your flight arrives (they wait for you). Your shuttle is actually scheduled to arrive in Paris at 11:40 pm so you have two hours till the last métro. http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com/horaire_...

In case there was an unexpected problem and your flight was badly delayed, there are night buses (N11 to Rond Point des Champs Elysées + N01 to Place de Clichy. Here is the map (zoom in to see Paris) : http://www.ratp.info/orienter/cv/carteno...

Only problem with this solution is buses are confusing for first-timers and the trip will be 45 minutes long. Worst case scenario, since it's a short distance,  just take a cab, it shouldn't break the bank.

  2. You should be alright.

The shuttle from Beauvais to Porte Maillot leaves 20 minutes after the arrival of each flight and takes about and hour and 20 minutes.

Assuming you arrive on time and there is no problem retrieving luggage or clearing, clearing customs, etc then you will arrive at Porte Maillot 1h40 after your flight arrives or 23:45 if you arrive at 22:05.

You must then find the Metro station, buy your ticket etc.

The last Metro leaves the Porte Maillot station at 2:08 on Saturdays so you should be okay.
