Arsenal's Arsene Wenger is the best manager in the world, says Wojciech Szczesny: EPL News
Arsenal goal-keeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wojciech-Szczesny-c36998, has shrugged off rumours of a player revolt against his team's manager, Arsene Wenger, and claimed that the Frenchman is the best in the business. He stated that the boss cannot be blamed for
the mistakes players make in the match and that the team should take responsibility.
Arsenal had a brilliant first-half of the season and were leading the title race, but poor results recently have blown their chances of the silverware this season, with Manchester United and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 set to compete for the Premier
League crown.
Szczesny revealed that that Wenger has full support of the players and he is not to be blamed for the woeful second half of the season. The goal-keeper added that everybody is responsible for the disappointments and vowed to comeback
strongly next season.
“It is ridiculous. If you ask any of the players, they will stand by the manager. He built this thing from nothing and I believe he is the best manager in the world. We all take individual responsibility for our mistakes, and everyone
has played their part in this season's disappointments,” he was quoted as saying.
The Polish international admitted that it was a disappointing season for the Gunners. He insisted that the team is determined to step up next season and have the quality to do so. The 21-year old urged his side to be patient and end
the season on a high by winning the remaining matches in the League.
“It is frustrating not to be in the side that wins the championship, but we have shown we have the quality. It is just a matter of whether we can step up next season. We believe we are good enough, that we have a lot of years in front
of us and a lot of trophies to win - so let's be patient and show next year that we are good enough to win it,” the shot stopper concluded.
Arsenal are in third place with 67 points and are six points behind leaders Manchester United with three games to go in the season.
