Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas leaves everyone baffled about Barcelona move – EPL news
Arsenal skipper, Cesc Fabregas has left everyone baffled about his Barcelona move by insisting that he will not hand over a transfer request to Gunners for a move to his childhood La Liga club.
With Arsene Wenger’s men failing yet again to end their six-year silverware drought in the season ended, speculations arose that the Spanish international could make his way back to his former club. Having joined Arsenal in the 2003/04 season, Fabregas has been strongly linked with a move away to Emirates stadium in this summer transfer season.

Barcelona, who are desperate to bring back their former player back to Camp Nou, will hope that their efforts of signing Fabregas will prove to be a successful venture after their transfer bid was rejected by the Gunners last summer. Having appeared for Arsenal in over 300 matches and helping them win the FA Cup in 2005, Fabregas considers lack of silverware to be the prime reason behind his frustration.
“Any player who says he is not frustrated at not winning titles is lying. Barcelona are the best team in the world and going there guarantees titles. But I owe myself to Arsenal. Wenger is the boss, he makes decisions and I don't know if they want to sell me or not.” Fabregas asserted.
Fabregas left the Catalan giants in favour of Arsenal when he was only 16 years of age and many believe that time is ripe for the prodigal son to return to his childhood club.
