Arsenal's http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-Coquelin-c13952 looking to move away in order to secure first team action – Premier League Update
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 midfielder Francis Coquelin has gone on to admit that he could potentially be looking to move away the Emirates as part of a permanent deal, as he looks to secure more first team football for himself in the future.
The twenty year old made the move from the reserves to the first team this season, but managed to be a part of the Gunners side that went on to lose by eight goals to two at the hands of Manchester United and then featured in the squad that lost to Tottenham
Hotspur by two goals to one. However, despite impressing many during these two appearances, the midfielder has found it quite hard to become a regular feature in the Gunners squad and this has caused the player to rethink his future at the club.
The player spent last season on a loan spell away for French Ligue 1 side Lorient and based on the appearances he made for the French club, he now feels that he has earned the right to play more football and be a part of the starting eleven on a much more
regular basis.
The French Under-21 international, when talking about his future plans and his hunger for first team football, is quoted to have said: “I said to myself that I will have some chances to play when I returned to Arsenal this summer, so I decided to stay with
this team. I played not badly at the beginning, even in the big matches but with the returns of the main players of the team, I have disappeared little.
“People always say to me that I’m still young, that there is time, but I played a whole season in Lorient, and today, I almost don’t play at all. Return to nothing, it’s annoying.”
“Considering my time of play, its sure that the idea of a departure this winter is in my head”.
Arsenal currently possess a very competent midfield and they seem to be doing alright without Coquelin. As a result, should the player push for a move away from the club and  should the team receive decent cash from his transfer, then it wouldn’t be a surprise
to see the Gunners part ways with their talented youngster.
Not only would his move away create space for new recruits, but it would also help him make a name for himself and hopefully help him make the switch to the senior French squad, which is more than likely to be the player's ultimate goal.
