The North London club took on AC Milan in the second leg of their tie, following a four goals to nil deficit.
However, despite everyone assuming the team would go on and falter once again, they Gunners went on to produce one of their best performances to date, as they beat Milan by three goals to nil.
Despite the win, the Italian side still progressed to the next round, as the score in the tie read four goals to three in the end.
Koscielny, who opened the scoring for Arsenal, went on to admit that the team gave it their all and the manner in which the club conducted itself, just goes to show what the team is capable of.
Following the game, the defender was asked if the team ran out of energy near the end. In response to that the defender stated: "Everybody did, but when we lost 4-0 in the first game it's difficult to come back.”
He then went on to add that the team put up the display for the fans and that the team would be back in the competition next season once again.
"We want to play together for the public. I think we gave our all, everybody on the pitch, and lacked just one goal but we want to come back next year."
Koscielny then went on to hail the team’s ability to play together and fight as a unit. He also admitted that the Gunners had shown a lot of potential in recent weeks, which indicates that they really want to claim a Champions League spot.
He added: "Everybody fought together and helped his teammates, it's very important to keep that."
"We won against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and we have some difficult games but we want to be in the fourth place or maybe the third [at the end of the season]."
It is now a wait till the end of the season to see just where the team finish their current campaign.
