Arsenal FC looking to make another bid for Yann M’Vila of Stade Rennais – Ligue 1 news
Reports in France suggest that English Premier League side Arsenal FC are considering making another bid for Ligue 1 side, Stade Rennais star Yann M’Vila as the Gunners manager looks to continue life following the departures of Cesc Fabregas and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360
to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Manchester City respectively.
The London club initially tried to sign M’Vila earlier this summer but the Brittany club rejected Arsenal’s advances as the club is not willing to let go of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international. However, reports suggest that Arsene Wenger is desperate to add depth to
his squad which many feel is not experienced enough to compete for top honours in the league.
According to French sports daily L’Equipe, Arsenal are considering launching another bid for the highly-rated midfielder. English tabloid Daily Mail claims that Arsene Wenger could offer Rennais 25 million Euros for the services of Yann M’Vila.
Though the 21-year-old is under contract with the Bretons until 2015, M’Vila is still considered transferable by the club’s management. M’Vila was also attracting considerable interest from Real Madrid earlier this summer but chose to stay with Rennais.
Furthermore, with the 2012 European Championships on the horizon, the Stade Rennais star is looking to stay under the radar of France national team coach Laurent Blanc so staying at Rennais seems to be a more logical decision made by M’Vila in order to fend-off
interest from Real Madrid.
However, joining http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 would not hurt the youngster’s chances of claiming a regular spot in the Les Bleus squad. With Arsenal desperately looking for some much needed feistiness in their midfield, Yann M’Vila could turn out to be the answer to Arsenal’s
problems that have suddenly become evident following the departure of Nasri and Fabregas.
For six years, Arsenal have failed to win a single trophy and Arsene Wenger is under a lot of stress to deliver this time round. The Gunners are also keeping tabs on LOSC Lille midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 who is also reportedly keen on making a switch to a new
club if a good offer is placed on the table.
