I'm a BIG arsenal fan and i'm not 2 happy about the recent trades.

Is anyone else unhappy about gilberto da silva getting traded??

He wasn't a big player for arsenal last season but he's a loyal player from 2002 who deserves his place on the first team but didn't get it last year. And Hleb getting traded also wasn't a good move. I'm happy bout the nasri deal, no doubt :), But i h8 that they give away good arsenal players.

Hleb wanted out so Wenger had to sell him really. Flamini was a big loss too, bigger than Gilberto IMO.

By the way they call them "transfers", trade sounds like MLS talk. :P

Wenger most probably sold him cos he prefers kids, the guy was 31, about 10 yrs too old for Wengers liking.

He was unhappy last season sitting on the bench for most of the season, he said that many times that he wants to get his 1st team place. We got Amaury Bischoff, 21 year old guy to replace Flamini/Gilbero's DM position. Don't know why Wenger bought him we need some experienced player like Cameronesi or Renato there.

Not so fussed about Hleb but i was really upset about Gilberto going, he was a solid holding midfielder and was valuable to our squad. Even though he didn't play too often, i still think Wenger needs a replacement,

Arsenal fans should know by now that Arsene Wenger knows what he's doing. Just trust him and he will bring you exciting football. He might not win the league but hey, at least you got exciting football where as Chelsea and Liverpool got none of that.
