Question:

Arsenal - Showing Signs Of Weakness Already?

once again, Arsenil failed to make the most of a perfectly good match!..

they didn't look good against WBA, they didn't look good against Fulham, until they realized that they weren't gonna win anything unless started to be a bit more active...

What Or Who do you reckon is the weak link?

...when it comes to Who, i'd say Adebayour...unless you give him an open goal scoring chance or a long ball near the post, i don't think he'll ever score...

When it comes to who....i'd say its the fact that arsenal players are taking everything for granted and they start to slack after 40-50 mins..

What do you think?

  1. i dont no y ur all moanin at adebayor. I bet u wernt sayin tht last season when he scored tht screamer agains those stupid yids from shite hart lane were yah? n the person who sed he only scores from inside the box... if it was eduardo u woodnt mind wood ya. for god sake u call ur selfs fans.

  2. we are lacking strong midfielders

we need players like fabregas and rosiscy urgently back in the game

adebayor wastes a lot of chances in front of goal but he is not to blame for arsenals loss yesterday.our team disappointed as a whole especially our midfielders ie.denilson, eboue

  3. At the start of last season, Man Utd were showing the same signs. We know how their season ended.

We're reading too much into one game.

Man Utd came unstuck against City, Bolton and Chelsea last season, but they took it all!

Wait and watch. Don't write off teams based on one game. If one game is a good judge, Hull City are taking the title!

  4. they r out of form and will come in form during the next pre season

    hahaha

  5. Cesc didn't play I don't think. Also, its a very long season.

    I wouldn't be too worried.

  6. Adebayor and Van Persie, really are not as what they used to be judging by theyre performance from today, Adebayor's performance has decreased dramatically anyway since mid-season last season.

  7. Arsenal no longer play much attractive football. Players like adebayor is no longer sharp. Their defence is also weak, to all arsenal fans, just pray hard that fabregas is back.

  8. They were outplayed. That's what you get when you get when you offload players like crazy. Fabregas can't do the job alone and there would have been no difference even if he had played today. They have much work to do in bonding the new crop of players. It's going to be another season without trophy.

  9. adebayor is a incredible player but he needs to be benched arsenal gots a talented player such as vela hes good and a young prodigy the need to sit adebayor and have vela start

  10. yep and i love it hahahaha

  11. I didn't get to watch the Fulham match.

But I have to say that Arsenal most likely missed Fabregas. I did watch the West Brom match and while they created many oppurtunities they did have periods where they slacked off, and really did miss quite a few chances, Adebayor a culprit there.

With Adebayor, last season few criticised him for missing chances because he took enough to win matches. It is starting to show that he has a pretty average conversion rate. I still rate him, but he has a habit of wasting chances.

I do think that Wenger needs a proper replacement for Flamini/ Gilberto, a hard working, tireless holding midfielder. So that even when the team tends to slack off you can always rely on a particular player to do the hard yards. They do not have this particular player at the moment and there are no candidates in his squad at the moment.

So, in my opinion, they are lacking in striking options and the holding midfielder position. Wenger should have looked into that before buying Silvestre.

  12. probably because they haven't had the luck of some of the other teams yet.

  13. I think this performance showed the three things we are missing, but two of them are injured.

We needed a finisher who can hit the target 90% of the time. 1 shot on target and 11 off just emphasizes that. We have that in Eduardo, but of course he's injured.

We needed a creative midfielder with precise passing and we have two of those in Fabregas and Rosicky, but both are injured.

And we needed a defensive midfielder. Denilson was very poor and is now becoming a concern. However, although others are calling for new signings, which would be nice, I wouldn't mind seeing Song in that role. I think Toure needs to stay in defense and then we have Djourou/Gallas/Senderos to partner him. (I would rather Djourou partnered Toure with Toure, Sagna or Almunia being captain).

I still think the squad is good enough, despite these injuries and problems!

  14. Bl00dy h**l man, give it a chance will you. They've only played 2 games. Man u only managed a draw in there 1st game, doesn't mean they're preparing for relegation. Anyway i'm sick of hearing man u/arsenal/chelsea/newcastle/liverpool supporters kicking off so much cos their team isn't doing so well as if they have some god given right to be in the top flight. try being in our shoes (SAFC)

  15. When Fabregas comes back we will prevail. Arsenal are in an injury crisis at the moment so when we get over this we will start winning games.
