Arsenal To Sign Goklan Inler???

Question

Swiss midfielder Goklan Inler, who plays for Udinese, was his primary target.

“I do not rule out anybody completely at the moment,” he commented. “If we were in advanced negotiations with anybody else I would say no, so everything is possible right now.”

What are your thoughts?

Inler's price according to this article is

£8 million. Thats not a bad price. I can't say anything about him cos I've never seen him play lol maybe here and there in the Euro 08.

His agent, Dino Lamberti, said: "It is true that I had a meeting with Arsene Wenger.

We'll hear the news when he signs.

Gokhan Inler is a very talented and an exciting prospect but from the information I have gathered, he is an attacking midfielder. I don't think that he would be an ideal signing for the immediate future but an arsene masterpiece sometime in the future. Also, Inler is young (21) and isn't the " experienced" player expected. But, this rumour is also on the skysports front page and I don't believe they post bullshit on their website. We need to cover our defensive midfield position with, in my opinion, a quality, experienced english premiership midfielder ( Alonso anyone) and I believe we would be a force feared across europe.

I wouldn't mind Inler though! Arsenal All The WAAAAAAAY!
