The Gunners have reportedly resumed their chase of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international, Yann M’Vila, trying to tempt the youngster to join the London-based club in the January transfer window
Arsenal’s interested in Stade Rennais man, Yann M’Vila seems to have reignited as the January transfer window closes in. The North London club is keen to sign the promising young midfielder in their bid to improve their midfield. Club manager, Arsene Wenger,
believes that he can improve the player’s attitude despite his lack of discipline, once he arrives at the Emirates Stadium.
M’Vila has been a revelation for Stade Rennais since the start of the 2012/13 season. The defensive midfielder exhibits excellent defensive abilities and impressive physical strength, and is one most promising youngster of his generation.
The 22-year-old has been a long time target for the Gunners. The club was linked with the midfielder since the previous two summer transfer windows. And the London-based club still seems keen on signing the player.
The club’s interest in the France international had escalated following the departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078. The English Premier League outfit still find themselves deprived of a capable defensive midfielder, one who can fulfill Song’s role in the
position.
M’Vila seems to be the perfect replacement for the former Arsenal player, as he appears to possess all the necessary capabilities to be a world-class holding midfielder. The Frenchman is already performing the same role at the Rennes-based club, and can
replicate his solid performances in the Premier League.
The Stade Rennais academy graduate has been known for his poor discipline, which has proved to sabotage the youngster’s progress at times.
Les-Rouge-et-Noirs are willing to offload the player due to his attitude problems, which at times has a negative effect on the overall discipline of the team. The London-based club is willing to help Rennes get rid of their troublesome prospect, as they’ve
offered a cut price deal worth £8 million for the youngster.
However, Arsenal are not the only club that are interested in securing the services of the midfielder. With increasing interest in the holding midfielder by several clubs including CSKA Moscow, Tottenham Hotspur and Queens Park Rangers, the Gunners would
have to stiff competition for the signature of the prized youngster.
