Arsenal striker and Dutch international, Robin Van Persie has gone on to thank his team mates for the fine vein of form that he seems to have hit this year.
The striker has been scoring goals for fun in 2011 and is only a couple of goals away from setting a new all time goal scoring record for a calendar year in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749.
However, the striker seems to not want to take all the credit for himself, as he has gone on to thank a number of his team mates for helping him along the way and contributing to his goal scoring record.
The forward thanks http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 the most, who seems to only be able to give assists to the Dutchman, who isn’t complaining about anything just yet.
“Theo [Walcott] has given me more assists than anyone else this year”

“I’ve certainly noticed it and that’s why I really liked the fact that he gave me the ball for my 100th goal – it was meant to be!”
Van Persie then went on to highlight the passing and movement that the team have, which helps him get into brilliant goal scoring positions time and time again, as he went on to add:
“For example, I look back at my first goal against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755. And my first goal against Norwich was 90 per cent Theo’s – a fantastic first touch, great pace, good cross and bang, I tap
it in.”
The striker then gave some credit to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aaron-Ramsey-c3065, who has really been picking his form up this season and proven just why Arsene Wenger went all out to sign him.
“Don’t forget Aaron [Ramsey], he was a bit unlucky against Norwich as he should probably have been passed to on a couple of occasions when he’d shown great movement to get into good positions.”
Thanks to the team chemistry that the Gunners have established, they have managed to take their very poor start to the Premier League season and turned it into something great. The team has managed to win their last five games and even went on to beat the
likes of Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.
As a result of the form that Van Persie is in and thanks to the mental connection the team has built, it now seems like Arsenal could easily contest for a spot in the top four at the end of the season, while pushing for a title or two at the same time.
