Arsenal have been given a massive boost in their pursuit for Real Madrid’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251, as the midfielder turned down the option of joining Besiktas on a loan deal.
Over the last couple of days, it has been rumoured that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are looking to bring in the Madrid midfielder on a season long loan, as they look to enhance their midfield options.
Having moved to the Spanish club in 2011, the midfielder has failed to make an impact on the team and hasn’t really featured in a lot of games for the club.
As a result, it was believed that Madrid wouldn’t have a very big problem in letting him leave on a season long loan.
However, once news of the possibility of signing the midfielder on loan broke out across the footballing world, a number of teams decided to step in and try their luck at landing the player.
Besiktas were the first club to actually offer the player a loan deal, only to see him turn down that option.
Sahin if anything, is surplus to requirements at Real Madrid. In the team’s pre season games, he has found himself playing as a left back, since there is no other place for him on the pitch.
The Turkish player needs to come to terms with the fact that for the time being, there is no future for him at Madrid and it is perhaps best for him to take up Arsenal’s offer.
Should he move to the Emirates, he would go on and play as the deep holding midfielder. This would allow the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505 joining the mix, the team could have one of the strongest midfields in the league.
Jose Mourinho had previously revealed that it was up to Sahin to decide what he wanted to do with his future and that he would support him, no matter what he decided to do.
As a result, it is now going to be a wait to see just what the midfielder decides to do and whether he ends up moving to the Emirates or not.
