player under the tutelage of Frederic Antonetti.
Last summer, the youngster was under the radar of host of European sides including Real Madrid and Arsenal. However, M’Vila chose not to go Real Madrid as he said that he did not want to take any risks so early in his career.
Arsenal on the other hand, were keen on securing the services of the youngster but Stade Rennais chose to hold on to their star player for at least one more campaign.
However, it now appears, that Arsenal will once again enter the race to sign the highly-rated midfielder.
Despite having an inconsistent last few weeks for the Bretons, M’Vila is highly thought of by Arsene Wenger who is keen to bring in the youngster to the Emirates.
Though Wenger must be delighted with the form of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-c4885 Song who has become an incumbent part of the starting XI, the Frenchman is keen on signing another defensive midfielder of the same level.
With Frimpong currently on loan at Wolverhampton http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952, it is true that the Gunners do not have a good alternative in case Song is injured or suspended. Arsenal are therefore keen to sign M’Vila who will cost the London club at least 15 million Euros.
If unsuccessful, the Gunners would then consider the case of Argentine midfielder Biglia who is currently playing for Belgian Jupiler side Anderlecht. The 26-year-old is about to complete his sixth season in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belgium-c2850 and is keen to have change of scenery.
However, Arsene Wenger has reportedly given top priority to Yann M’Vila as the midfielder is considered as a player who could quickly adjust to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s system.
Furthermore, being young and of French nationality, Arsenal would do well to have a player of M’Vila’s quality especially because a dip in Song’s form could prove to be a catastrophe.
