Arsenal letting Senderos go....... good or bad ??

I don't like Senderos as hes sloppy at times but overall Arsenal fans know that hes a 'good' player. Senderos was the starting center half in 05/06 and had formed a record breaking partnership with Kolo Toure, one in which the team went 10 Champions League matches without conceding a goal. Their record breaking run was not against teams like FC Twente, or Fulham, it was against the Real Madrids of the world. so there you go another player leaves Flamini, Hleb, Gilberto, Traore and now Senderos. I'd rather see Eboue going on loan, forever. What do you think of this move ? Arsenal are already short of defence cover aren't they Silvestre is a left back he will s***w up playing in the middle.

  1. i think its a bad choice i mean wenger is selling all of his experienced player which is not good! maybe theros a reason behind it that we dont know but i hope he can bring someone great a prove to us that the players sold were worth it!

  2. Decent for cover but glad he's gone, too sloppy like you say - Silvestre will do for cover now.

  3. Good...the experience would do him a lot of good...

  4. Well i never really rated him but i thought he was better than Silvestre. Im surprised they're letting him go, more surprised Ac Milan haven't gone for someone more high profile and better

  5. He probably will be suited a lot more to Italian football because of the slower pace, but there's no doubting he has had a bad time the past couple of years and made a lot of mistakes, he must have suffered a bit by not being a regular in the team, playing bit parts isn't good for his confidence, he must have something going for him, otherwise Milan wouldn't have gone for him.

  6. Senderos is Championship class when he plays for Arsenal but whenever you see him play for his country you would think he was one of the best defenders in the world. He lets in too many goals, sometimes directly from his own foot or head and we don't need him at Arsenal. He just isn't good enough for us.

  7. i dont think its good news, I know they have silvestre but can you rely on him, if gallas or toure get a long term injury, then silvestre has to cover, yeah experienced he is, but could you rely on him for 10 matches, if it comes to it, I don't think you can. I feel for arsenal this season. The have lost alot of quality players and bought in teens!! Also silvestre has been a bit injury prone recently, even though he is back up is he reliable enough to rely on when called upon?? Im not sure of that either! Wenger must know what he is doing though! Who am i to question arsene wengers decisions. Good luck arsenal.

  8. i thought he played well...when toure was at ACON.

toure and gallas arent much better eaither. worst centre pair i'v in in Arsenal. and the worst midfeild i'v seen.

we'r below par. face it or not. we'r screwed.

  9. I think Senderos is a player who is suitable for his role of playing in centre-defence. Sometimes as you say he is off the plot and does not really know what he is doing, but when he gets the chance and concentrate on what is occurring in front of him, he is definitely a good player.

Him leaving to AC Milan would leave Arsenal with a leeway and can eventually make Arsene bring a world-class player in. But I do doubt that as they would not want to sit on the bench all day and particularly since Toure and Gallas are first choice defenders. Therefore, I imagine there would either be an 'experienced player' or a young lad swapping for Senderos' shirt. He would probably gain some valuable experience in the San Siro, with this being a lucrative deal for both teams.

  10. GOOD

  11. Very Good he was rubbish, had 1 good game to every 10 bad ones he is too slow physically and mentally, think he'll do well in Italy thou the game is played slower over there.

  12. Bad, I will miss his own goals.

Are you sure? I think I recall him scoring a few. Quite quality finishes too.

  13. I think he was great but maybe he dropped form because he was unhappy about something maybe money or lack of cups who really knows but letting him go was a good move by Arsenal i think he will play well for Milan being around top defenders he should perform well

so good for Arsenal and good for Ac Milan

i hope Arsenal buys players to create depth now or in January
