Arsenal looking to bring in centre back
Arsenal who are currently in desperate need of some quality centre backs seem to have finally admitted to meet the asking price of Bolton for the teams star centre back Gary Cahill. Arsene Wenger in the past had repeatedly insisted that Bolton has estimated
their defender to be worth a lot more than what he was really worth, however with the growing demands at the club the manager seems to have finally caved in to those demands and is now willing to meet them, whenever he is given the opportunity to do just that.
The English international who is now twenty four years old, has proven to be one of the most consistent performers in the league ever since he made with Aston Villa. The player has over the past been rumored to be liked to numerous clubs, including the top
teams in Europe. However the player never really wanted to move out of England which is why the move never really materialized. Owen Coyle who placed a giant price tag on the player, to prevent him from leaving the team seems to have finally met his match,
as Wenger is now looking to pay the price that the team is demanding.
Arsenal who quite possible have one of the best attack in England, have at the same time had one of the poorest defenses in the league. The team has so far conceded eight goals in the league, which might not seem to be a lot for most people, but is a great
number to concede when you consider the fact that Arsenal are one of the best teams in England.
Arsenal are rumored to be willing to pay as much as fifteen million pounds for the player who has become a part of Fabio Capello’s plans for England’s future. The player also seems to already have the mentality to join in the Arsenal back line and play in
the team without missing a beat.
He has great technique and tremendous tackling ability, in fact many consider him to be amongst the best tacklers around at the moment. At the same time the extra advantage that he will provide to the team is in the air. He is over six feet tall and has
great aerial ability, which is just what Arsenal need at the back, since they are currently lacking tall defenders.
If the move does happen to go through, then the team could prove to be just what Arsenal need to help boost their hopes of lifting any silverware this season and is one which would be greatly welcomed by both the fans of the clubs and the current member
of the team.
